Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is the worship of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Eucharist.  The Eucharist is exposed in a monstrance on the altar, allowing us to spend time in prayer with the Real Presence of Jesus.

Our Adoration time is from 12:00 noon until 7:30 p.m.  During the time that the Blessed Sacrament is exposed, we must have adorers present.  Most people typically spend an hour in adoration.  We are in the process of developing a schedule of those who can commit to one hour a week during the Adoration time.  We need two people per hour so that in the event of one person not being able to attend, the other can cover.  We also are looking for 2-3 substitutes who would be available should we need further help.  Those who cannot commit to a specific hour each week are encouraged to drop in and spend whatever time may be possible with our Lord.

Adoration of our Lord in the Eucharist is a chance to know Jesus better through prayer and adoration, and to allow our relationship with Jesus to grow.  We hope that you will consider making Adoration a part of your week.
