Our Mission ...
St. Edward School is a
Catholic Franciscan community which builds on the traditions of
faith, family and educational excellence in a nurturing
environment. Here, by the living example of Jesus in our
teachers and our Franciscan priests, we prepare our students to
have the moral values, integrity and knowledge to become servant
leaders in a diverse and changing world.
What Makes Us Special ...
d
Academic excellence
Our students continuously
achieve high standards of academic achievement --
Outperforming
their diocesan and national counterparts on standardized testing,
placing regionally, state-wide, and nationally in educational
competitions like National History Day, Science Fairs, Catholic
Daughters Educational Contest, and Knights of Columbus Vocations
Contest.
d
Faith
As members of a Catholic,
Franciscan community, our faculty,
staff, and students share in a rich, faith-filled environment
which fosters the development of all individuals spiritually and
socially in a warm, loving, family-like atmosphere.
Whether it be at Mass, in the classroom, on the playground or in
a service project, our faith brings students to know
themselves and others as children of God with many gifts and
talents to share.

Supporting St. Edward
School
Tuition, fund-raisers and church subsidies are necessary to financially
support St. Edward School. We also apply for grants to help institute
new programs or to update materials, but grants for Catholic Schools are
not easy to find.
There are several ways for people who believe in
Catholic education to help St. Edward School:
-
Donations to the Annual Appeal --
help bring cultural enrichment programs to the students
as well as support for existing programs. These
donations are tax deductible.
-
Endowments - would allow the
administration to use only the interest to help support
families who cannot afford tuition, but wish to send
their children to St. Edward School.
-
Bequests - remembering the school
in your will would help keep tuition from increasing and
would help in maintaining the school facilities.
-
Support a Student -- make a
donation towards a specific child's tuition or to any
student needing financial help. Cost: $214/month
-
Donations to the Teachers' Wish
