Eucharist Adoration (September through May)

ADORATION of the BLESSED SACRAMENT

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is held on Thursdays from Labor Day to Memorial Day from 12 noon until 7:30 p.m.  Adoration is the worship of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Eucharist.  The Eucharist is exposed in a monstrance on the altar, allowing us spend time in prayer with the Real Presence of Jesus.

Adoration of our Lord in the Eucharist is a chance to know Jesus better through prayer and adoration, and to allow our relationship with Jesus to grow.  We hope that you will consider making Adoration a part of your week.

During the time that the Blessed Sacrament is exposed, we must have adorers present. Most people typically spend an hour in adoration.  We need two people per hour so that in the event of one person not being able to attend the other can cover.  If you can commit to a particular hour each week,  please call the Parish Office at 860-684-2705.

Those who cannot commit to a specific hour each week are encouraged to drop-in and spend whatever time may be possible with our Lord.
