Ladies' Guild
St. Edward Ladies Guild is a church organization that promotes spiritual, educational, and philanthropic interests in the Parish and hosts many of the Parish receptions and functions. It is a channel through which the women of the Parish work to further spiritual and material undertakings which may be recommended to the Ladies Guild by the Pastor.
The St. Edward Ladies' Guild was established in 1955 with the purpose of providing for the many needs of our parish through close communication with out pastor. Our hard working ladies have raised money to provide for immediate parish needs such as: the Little Black, White, and Blue meditation books, the missalettes for the year that are in the pews, the Paschal Candle during the Easter season, a new computer system in our church office, a sound system for the church, altar cloths, priestly vestments in multiple sizes and colors, a funeral pall, chasuble and stole set, Advent candles, a commercial gas stove in our parish hall, and many other items over the years.
For over 70 years, the Guild has provided for our church through fundraising from our Polish Dinners, tag and bake sales, pierogi and cookie sales, and Christmas Bazaars. All proceeds from our fundraisers go directly back to our church. We would love to have you join us. We joyfully work in God's name for the future of our parish here in Stafford. We meet on the third Tuesday of the month from March through June, and from September through December, at 6 PM in the church hall meeting room.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask any of the Guild officers listed below, or call the church office at (860)684-2705. God's peace and blessings be with you!
