Confirmation, together with Baptism and Eucharist, form the Sacraments of Initiation that are all intimately connected.  In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized person is "sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit" and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ.  Young people are typically confirmed after attending two years of preparation (typically in Grades Nine and Ten).  Adults who have not received Confirmation may do so by participating in the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) program.   For RCIA Confirmation Instructions, please check the Faith Formation tab/RCIA.
