The proclamation of the Word of God is truly a ministry in the Church. Lectors proclaim the Word of God to the assembly of the faithful. In addition to reading the first two readings, they also offer the general intercessions. This ministry of the Word is practiced with the highest level of reverence and dignity.

We are always in need of new lectors.  Those who feel called to this ministry must have made their confirmation and be comfortable speaking in public.  Contact the Parish Office (860-684-2705) if you are interested in serving in this capacity. Training will be provided.
